Art therapy

Art therapy can be an alternative or a complement to therapy for those who want to explore inner processes beyond language. Through creative expression emotions, thoughts, experiences, and questions can be expressed and listened to without pressure or performance. No previous experience with art or creative work is needed.
Art therapy can be especially helpful when:
- words feel insufficient
- emotions are difficult to understand or express
- the body holds memories of stress, shame, or dysphoria
- you want to explore gender identity, gender euphoria, or self-worth in nonverbal way.
Art therapy can be a creative way to explore self-image and identity.
